Who we are

This website is operated by Dongzhan Auto Parts Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of truck and pickup exterior parts based at Changzhou, Jiangsu, China. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “Dongzhan” mean that company.

What we collect

• Details you send us through quote, sample, dealer and contact forms: your name, business email, company, phone or WhatsApp number, country, the message you write and — where you provide it — the “describe yourself” category on the dealer application.
• Part lists and technical details you submit through the RFQ basket or in messages: part names, OEM references, vehicle details, quantities and destination.
• Technical information generated by your browser: page requested, time, approximate region, browser type and screen size, collected through our own first-party event tracking.
• Order and correspondence records if you become a customer: quotations, invoices, packing lists, shipping documents and email/WhatsApp correspondence.

We do not ask for payment card numbers on this website, and we do not knowingly collect special-category personal data.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation, sample offer or dealer evaluation.
• To check fitment and technical requirements against the vehicles and parts you tell us about.
• To arrange samples, production, shipping and the documents that travel with an order.
• To keep order and accounting records required by applicable law.
• To improve this website: which pages are used, which parts are looked at, where enquiries stall.
• To send you the catalogue or product updates you explicitly ask for. You can opt out at any time.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you requested a quote.

Legal bases

Where data-protection laws such as the EU or UK GDPR apply, we rely on: your consent when you submit a form or ask for a catalogue; our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and improving our website, balanced against your rights; performance of a contract when you place an order; and legal obligation for accounting and customs records.

Cookies & local storage

This site does not set third-party advertising cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage for practical things: remembering the parts in your RFQ basket, remembering a vehicle you selected in the fitment finder, and keeping a local queue of interaction events. You can clear these at any time through your browser’s “clear site data” function; the site continues to work.

If a server-side analytics endpoint or lead webhook is configured for a deployment, interaction events and submitted enquiry data may be sent to that endpoint, which is operated for us. The website does not embed third-party advertising or social tracking scripts.

When we share data

We share only what is needed, with:

• Couriers and freight forwarders — name, address, phone and shipment contents, so goods can be delivered.
• Banks and payment service providers — invoicing and payment records.
• Our hosting, email and document service providers, as processors acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires disclosure or to enforce our rights.

We may mention products and services of third parties (for example messaging or marketplace platforms) and link to them; those sites have their own privacy policies.

International transfers

We are based in China and work with customers worldwide. Enquiry and order data may be processed in China and in the countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use contractual safeguards for these transfers. If your organisation requires a specific data-processing agreement, tell us before sending personal data and we will discuss it.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
• Sample and quotation records: up to 3 years for warranty and commercial reference purposes.
• Order, invoice and customs records: for the period required by applicable accounting and tax rules.
• Local browser storage: until you clear it in your browser.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and receive a portable copy. To exercise any of these, email shawnxiao178@gmail.com with enough information for us to identify the enquiry or order. We respond within the time required by applicable law.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to your local data-protection authority.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls on our systems and encrypted connections to this website.
