Platform fitment

T9 and T6: two different Rangers, two different kits

The Ranger T9 launched in 2022 on a new platform. Its body lines, bumper cut-outs and wheel arches are different from the T6/T7 that ran from 2012 to 2022, so a T6 kit does not fit a T9 truck — and the T9 is the platform buyers are actively accessorising now. Keeping both kits in the catalogue covers the aftermarket parc and the new-vehicle pipeline.

The T9 kit is $186 per set at 10 sets; the T6 kit is $172 per set. Both are ABS with stainless hardware, textured black or pre-painted to a factory colour code, and both ship as a single retail-ready carton with the fitting guide inside.

  • Confirm cab style (single, extended, double) before ordering side skirts — the sill length changes.
  • T9 kits are moulded to the new wheel-arch profile; do not use T6 flares on a T9 truck.
  • Raptor-style grille for the T9 keeps the sensor and camera openings; confirm if the truck has front parking sensors.
  • Paint-to-code adds production time — send the factory colour code with the order.

What is in the box

What a complete Ranger body kit actually contains

A useful kit is not just four plastic pieces. Our T9 and T6 kits include side skirts, wheel-arch extensions, front and rear bumper lips, the stainless and plastic hardware needed for the fit, and a printed fitting guide. That completeness is what makes the kit sellable to an accessory shop as a single SKU rather than a bag of parts.

Each kit weighs about 14–15 kg and occupies 0.45–0.60 CBM in its double-wall carton. Ten kits — the MOQ — is roughly 5–6 CBM, which mixes comfortably with lamps, grilles and mirrors in a 20ft container.

  • Side skirts, arch extensions, front and rear lips in one carton
  • Hardware bag taped inside the carton — loose screws are the top shortage claim
  • Printed fitting guide and a QR to the digital version
  • Textured black as standard; paint-to-code to a factory colour on request
  • Retail-ready packaging for accessory shops and e-commerce sellers

Sell the finished look

Kits convert better when the listing shows the finished truck, not the parts. We supply the fitting guide; your marketing team supplies the hero shot of a completed build.

Attach rate

The accessories that finish a Ranger build

A body kit is the anchor of a Ranger styling order, but the accessories carry the margin. Fender flares add width and definition; a Raptor-style grille changes the front end for a fraction of the kit price; LED headlights and smoked tail lamps modernise an older T6; mirror covers and a chrome tailgate cover finish the details. Each is a separate SKU with its own MOQ, so you can build the order around what your customers actually ask for.

On the T9, the LED headlight at $136 per pair and the smoked tail lamp at $92 per pair are the premium lighting upgrades; the standard tail lamp at $92 and the fog-lamp bezel at $11 per pair fill the repair side. For the T6, the LED projector headlight at $112 per pair is the volume upgrade, with the T6 grille at $48 and flares at $58 per set.

Fitment

Ranger fitment traps: cab style, sensors and handedness

Ranger kits fail at the details: a double-cab kit on a single cab, flares fitted over arch liners that were already cut, sensor openings blocked by a grille, or a RHD truck fitted with LHD mirror parts. None of these are manufacturing defects — they are order-input problems, and they are avoidable with three photos and a colour code.

Send the cab style, the front and rear three-quarter photos, the factory colour code and the destination market. We confirm the kit variant and the paint option before the tooling is scheduled.

  • Cab style: single, extended (Super Cab) or double cab
  • Sensor and camera openings on grilles and bumpers
  • RHD vs LHD for mirrors, lamps and some interior parts
  • Factory colour code for paint-to-code kits (adds lead time)
  • Whether the truck already has dealer-fitted accessories that the kit must work around

Order planning

Container math for a Ranger styling programme

Ranger kits are voluminous but light, which makes them the anchor of a mixed container: 20 T9 kits are roughly 10–12 CBM and only around 300 kg. Fill the remaining volume with flares, grilles, lamps and mirrors, which carry higher value per CBM and sell through faster.

A first 20ft for a Ranger-focused accessory shop usually looks like 20 kits, 40 flare sets, 30 grilles, 40 pairs of headlights and 40 pairs of tail lamps — roughly 24–27 CBM. We quote it FOB, CIF or DDP and pack the lamps on the top layer, kits and panels on the floor.

  • MOQ: 10 sets (kits), 20 sets (flares), 30 pcs (T9 grille), 20 pairs (lamps)
  • Stock lead times: lamps 7–15 days, flares 12–20 days, kits 15–25 days
  • Paint-to-code kits add 5–10 days depending on the colour batch
Example Ranger styling 20ft mix (planning estimate)
Line Quantity Estimated CBM
Body kits, T9 20 sets ≈ 11.0
Fender flares, T6/T7 40 sets ≈ 7.0
Raptor-style grilles, T9 30 pcs ≈ 2.4
LED headlights 40 pairs ≈ 4.4
Smoked tail lamps 40 pairs ≈ 3.0
Total — ≈ 27.8 CBM — trim 2–3 kits to stay under 27

Questions

Ford Ranger body kit — FAQ

The questions buyers ask before ordering. If yours is not here, send it with the part list — you get a named contact, a quote and the certificate scope, not a form letter.

Will a T6 body kit fit my 2023 Ranger T9?

No. The T9 launched in 2022 on a new platform with different body lines, wheel arches and bumper cut-outs, so T6 kits and flares do not fit. We make a dedicated T9 kit from $186 per set and separate T9 flares, grilles and lamps. If your truck is a late T6 (2020–2022), it still takes the T6 kit.

What is included in the Ford Ranger body kit?

Side skirts, wheel-arch extensions, front and rear bumper lips, the mounting hardware bag and a printed fitting guide, packed as one carton per set. Kits are textured black as standard with a paint-to-code option. The kit weighs about 14–15 kg and occupies 0.45–0.60 CBM, so 10 sets — the MOQ — is roughly 5–6 CBM.

Can you paint the kit to my factory colour?

Yes, paint-to-code is available on both T9 and T6 kits. Send the factory colour code with the order and allow 5–10 extra days for the paint batch. We photograph the colour against a master panel before packing. For distributors serving multiple colours, we recommend stocking textured black and ordering paint-to-code against confirmed customer orders.

Do you supply the Raptor-style grille for the Ranger T9?

Yes — the T9 grille is available in matte black with an optional Raptor-style FORD lettering look, from $48 per piece at 30 pcs. It uses the OE clip locations and keeps the sensor and camera openings. Confirm whether the truck has front parking sensors or a camera before ordering, so the correct variant is quoted.

Which lighting upgrades are available for the Ranger?

For the T9: a full LED headlight from $136 per pair and a smoked LED tail lamp from $78 per pair, alongside the standard tail lamp at $92 per pair. For the T6/T7: an LED projector headlight from $112 per pair and an LED tail lamp from $64 per pair. All are plug-and-play for the listed platform; E-MARK scope is confirmed per SKU, and US road use follows FMVSS 108 instead.

What is the MOQ and lead time for a Ranger kit order?

Body kits start at 10 sets with a 15–25 day production window; flares start at 20 sets with 12–20 days; T9 grilles at 30 pcs with 10–18 days; stock lamps at 20 pairs with 7–15 days. Mixed orders are welcome — a single 20ft can hold kits, flares, grilles and lamps, and we quote FOB, CIF or DDP side by side.
