Quality & documents

Quality you can audit — not just read about.

Incoming, in-process and final checks; a pre-shipment report and loading photos with every order; and the export documents your broker needs — confirmed per shipment and per part.

  • IQC incoming
  • IPQC in-process
  • FQC final
  • OQC outbound

Documents

Five documents buyers ask for — and what each one actually covers

A document is only useful if you know its scope. This is what each item covers, and what we need from you to prepare it for a specific shipment.

  • Commercial invoice & packing list

Issued by Dongzhan for every shipment, matched line-by-line to the loading plan and carton labels.

    Every shipment

  • Certificate of origin (CO)

Prepared with CCPIT where the destination or your letter of credit requires it; consular legalisation support available through the usual channels.

    On request

  • Inspection report & loading photos

Pre-shipment inspection report with photos of packed cartons and the sealed container.

    Every shipment

  • Conformity support (SABER / PVoC / local schemes)

Handled with your importer or appointed broker for the destination market; scope confirmed per shipment.

    Per market

  • Lighting documentation

Where a lighting part is covered by an existing approval, the approval number and scope letter are sent with the quotation. Scope is confirmed per part number.

    Lighting orders

Document requirements change with product and destination. Send the part numbers and destination market and the sales team confirms the exact list with the offer — in writing, before you order.

Document pack

Documents we can prepare — and what each one proves

Supplier qualification usually ends with one request: send the document. We do not publish other companies' certificates. Tell us the part numbers and destination market and sales confirms which documents we can provide for that shipment.

  • Commercial invoice & packing list

Issued by Dongzhan for every shipment, with carton marks and weights.

  • Certificate of origin (CO)

Prepared with CCPIT where the destination or your letter of credit requires it.

  • Conformity support (SABER / PVoC / country schemes)

Handled with your importer or appointed broker; scope confirmed per shipment.

  • Lighting documentation

For lighting families covered by an existing approval, the approval number and scope letter are sent with the offer. Scope is confirmed per part number.

Need a specific certificate for a tender or audit? Send the part numbers, destination and the exact document name — we confirm in writing what can be provided before you order.

Inspection

Four gates between steel coil and sealed container

A quality system is only real where someone can stop the line. These are the four points where a Dongzhan batch is checked — and where it can be rejected.

  1. IQC — incoming material

Steel coils, resin, LED boards, lenses, reflectors and hardware are checked on arrival: material certificates, dimensional checks, appearance sampling and supplier batch records.

Reject the batch, not the shipment

  2. IPQC — in-process

First-off approval at every moulding, painting and assembly start-up, then patrol checks on dimensions, colour, texture and light output against the approved golden sample.

    First-off + patrol checks

  3. FQC — final quality control

Every lighting assembly gets a 100% functional check. Appearance, fit and packing are sampled to AQL, cartons are counted and labelled, then goods move to finished-goods stock.

100% lighting test, AQL on appearance

  4. OQC — outgoing audit

Before the container seals: pre-shipment audit against the packing list, loading photos, sealed container record and a document-set check for your customs broker.

Checks

What gets measured — not just “we check every part”

Test parameters requested by distributors and auditors. Reports for the specific SKU are shared on request; the values are test criteria, not product warranties.

  • −40 °C

    Freeze test

Housings, glass and mechanisms are frozen to −40 °C to prove they survive cold-climate markets without cracking or seizing.

  • 200,000

    Vibration cycles

Lighting assemblies are vibration-tested for 200,000 cycles to catch bracket and LED-board failures before the road does.

  • 0.01 mm

    Dimensional checks

Moulded and pressed parts are measured to 0.01 mm against the drawing and the golden sample, so panel gaps stay consistent.

  • IP67

    Water ingress

Lamps are sealed and water-ingress tested to IP67 to stop fogging and short circuits in humid, high-dust markets.

  • Beam

    Light output & pattern

Every lamp is checked for output and beam pattern before it leaves the line — the parts of an E-MARK that actually get used at night.

  • Spectral

    Material analysis

Spectral analysis verifies incoming material composition against the specification, catching substituted resin before it becomes a field failure.

Test reports for specific SKUs are available on request. Values are test parameters, not product warranties.

    On request

  • Lighting documentation

Where the exact lamp family is covered by an existing approval, the approval number and scope letter go with the offer.

Questions

Quality & certification FAQ

Scope, reports, audits and claims — answered without marketing language.

Which document covers which product?

Documents are confirmed per shipment and per part. Every order gets a commercial invoice, packing list and pre-shipment inspection report; certificate of origin and conformity support are added where the destination requires them. Where a lighting part is covered by an existing approval, the approval number and scope letter are sent with the quotation. Tell us the SKU and destination and we confirm in writing what applies.

Do you send inspection reports with the order?

Yes. Every order ships with a pre-shipment inspection report and photos of the packed cartons and sealed container. Test reports for lighting and material certificates are available on request, and third-party inspection is welcome at your cost.

What happens if parts arrive damaged or out of specification?

Report it within 30 days of arrival with photos, carton labels and the affected quantity. We investigate against the golden sample and the inspection record, and reply within 5 working days with a resolution — replacement, credit or a corrective action plan. Verified defects are replaced or credited; freight on a verified defect is covered by us.

Can we audit the factory or send a third-party inspector?

Yes. Distributor audits and third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV, Intertek or your own team) are welcome — we schedule the visit, provide the quality documentation and give the inspector access to the line and the records. Book through your account manager or the contact page.

What warranty do you give?

Lighting carries a 2-year warranty against LED failure on SKUs where the product data states it; other products are covered per the terms on your quotation. Warranty terms are confirmed in writing with the offer, and the claims process runs through the same account manager who quoted the order.
