The programme

Who the wholesale programme is for

This is a trade programme, not a consumer shop. It fits importers and distributors who sell to workshops and accessory shops, jobbers who consolidate for smaller resellers, and fleet maintenance operations that buy exterior parts in repair quantities rather than one-off pieces.

The design goal is simple: let a distributor start with a mixed container that matches local demand, then grow into repeat orders on the SKUs that sell. That means low MOQs per SKU (20 pcs on most families), transparent category pricing, and a container plan that fills the space without forcing depth on a part you have not tested yet.

  • Importers and national distributors serving workshops and retailers
  • Regional jobbers consolidating for smaller resellers
  • Fleet workshops and insurance repair networks
  • E-commerce and marketplace sellers needing retail-ready packing
  • Accessory shops focused on styling, chrome and lighting upgrades

Not sure what mix to start with?

Send your market, the vehicles you service and the quantity you can commit to. We propose a first container based on what distributors in that region actually reorder — not on what we want to clear from stock.

Order sizing

MOQ by category and how a mixed container fits together

MOQ is set by how the part is packed, not by an arbitrary rule. Lamps and mirrors ship one pair per foam carton, so 20 pairs is 20 cartons. Bumpers, kits and steel panels are bulkier and start at 10 pcs or 10 sets. Small accessories are packed 100–200 per carton, which sets a carton-multiple MOQ.

A mixed 20ft holds roughly 26–28 usable CBM, or 62–66 CBM in a 40HQ. In practice a first order of 6–10 SKUs at 20–50 pcs each lands around 21–27 CBM — enough for a viable order without over-committing on any single part.

  • 20ft GP: ~26–28 usable CBM, ~28,000 kg payload (planning estimate)
  • 40ft HQ: ~62–66 usable CBM — best for kits, bumpers and panels
  • Palletised loading available on request for warehouses that cannot floor-stack
  • Mixed pallets: one pallet of lamps, one of mirrors, one of plastic parts is a normal first order
Typical wholesale MOQ by family
Family MOQ Packing Notes
Headlights / tail lamps 20 pairs 1 pair per foam carton 0.09–0.12 CBM per pair carton
Mirrors 20 pairs 1 pair per foam carton Glass and housing shipped together
Bumpers and grilles 10 pcs 1 pc per reinforced carton Primed or colour-matched
Body kits 10 sets 1 set per double-wall carton 0.45–0.60 CBM per set
Fender flares 20 sets 1 set per carton Bolt-on or smooth finish
Steel panels (fenders, hoods) 20 pcs 1 pc per carton E-coat primed, jig-checked
Chrome accessories 100 sets 100 sets per carton Carton-multiple MOQ only

Incoterms

Landed cost: FOB, CIF or DDP

Quote comparison is where margin is won. FOB gives you the lowest unit price and control of the forwarder, but you carry freight, insurance and destination charges. CIF adds freight and insurance to your port, with clearance still on your side. DDP delivers to your door with duty and destination charges included, which is the most predictable number for a first order or a new market.

We quote all three side by side on request, with the same SKU quantities. If DDP is within roughly 8–12% of your own FOB-landed estimate, the simplicity is usually worth it; if the gap is larger, compare the destination charges line by line before deciding.

  • Duty rates and tariff treatment depend on HS code and origin — confirm current rates with your broker
  • Conformity inspection (SABER, PVoC, SONCAP, COC) is arranged per shipment, not per container contract
  • Documents prepared during production: invoice, packing list, CO, test reports, product data sheets
Incoterm comparison for wholesale orders
Term Who arranges Risk transfers Best for
FOB You arrange freight and insurance from the Chinese port When goods are on board Experienced importers with a broker
CIF We arrange freight and insurance to your port At destination port First orders without a forwarder relationship
DDP We arrange freight, duty and delivery to your door At your door New markets, small teams, e-commerce sellers

Why the price holds

Why factory-direct pricing survives the freight

Wholesale margin disappears in the layers between a factory and a reseller. Buying directly removes one or two of those layers, but only if the supplier actually has the range and the export capability. Dongzhan Auto Parts coordinates production with partner factories, runs documented QC and handles export documents — 179 catalogue SKUs across 21 makes and 103 model generations, shipped from Changzhou, Jiangsu.

The range matters as much as the price: a distributor who can fill one container with lamps, mirrors, bumpers, styling and steel panels from one supplier avoids the freight and administration of three separate orders. That consolidation is the real wholesale advantage — fewer bills of lading, one document set, one QC standard.

  • coordinated production and export from Changzhou, China to worldwide markets
  • 179 SKUs across 8 categories, 21 makes and 103 model generations
  • quality system documentation and ISO 9001 documentation production; E-MARK documentation on selected lamp families
  • production capacity and 20+ new SKUs developed each month
  • One document set and one QC standard for a mixed container

Distributor support

Protecting your margin after the container lands

Wholesale pricing is only half of the margin equation; the other half is what happens after landing. Our dealer programme adds territory planning, annual volume pricing, private-label packaging and catalogue data you can reuse on your own website — so you are not rebuilding content for every SKU you stock.

For accessory lines we recommend a two-price-point strategy: an OE-style part for repair and fleet customers, and a modified or LED version for retail. Same fitment, different margin. It lets you serve both counters from one container without competing against yourself.

  • Dealer programme with territory and annual volume pricing
  • Private label: your logo on cartons, labels and product packaging
  • Catalogue data export (fitments, OEM refs, packing, MOQ) for your own listings
  • Retail-ready packing for e-commerce and accessory shops
  • Restock cycles from 7–15 days on stock items

Ask about territory

Dealer terms depend on market, volumes and whether the territory is already served. Tell us the country and the channels you sell into before the first order — it is easier to agree a plan up front than to renegotiate after a container lands.

Starting point

A first wholesale order you can actually run

The most common successful first order is a mixed 20ft covering repair, accessory retail and one styling family. Lamps travel on the top layer; bumpers, panels and kits sit on the floor; the packing list matches the physical load carton by carton.

From there, the second order adds depth on the two or three SKUs that sold, and the third moves to a scheduled 40HQ or a repeat 20ft cycle. We will tell you honestly when a SKU is too slow to justify container space.

  • 6–10 SKUs, 20–50 pcs each, 21–27 CBM is a normal first container
  • FOB / CIF / DDP comparison on one quotation
  • Reply within two business hours, documents prepared before production

Questions

truck body parts wholesale — FAQ

The questions buyers ask before ordering. If yours is not here, send it with the part list — you get a named contact, a quote and the certificate scope, not a form letter.

What is the minimum order for wholesale truck body parts?

MOQ is 20 pcs or 20 pairs on most families: lamps, mirrors and steel panels. Bumpers and body kits start at 10 pcs/sets, and small chrome accessories are packed 100 sets per carton so that becomes the multiple. There is no minimum container value — a first order can be an LCL shipment of 3–5 CBM if that is what your market supports.

Can I mix different categories in one container?

Yes — mixing is the normal way distributors start. Lamps, mirrors, bumpers, body kits, steel panels and accessories can travel in one 20ft with one bill of lading and one document set. We plan the load so fragile lamp cartons stay on top, and the packing list matches the physical carton numbering.

Do you offer distributor or territory pricing?

Yes, through the dealer programme. Pricing depends on the market, the annual volume you can commit to and whether the territory is already served. Tell us the country and channels before the first order; territory agreements are easier to set up before you are ordering regularly than after.

What payment terms do you offer wholesale buyers?

The standard terms are 30% TT deposit with the balance before shipment. Letter of credit at sight and documents against payment are available for repeat distributors and larger orders, and we quote in USD or EUR. Payment terms for a first order are confirmed on the proforma invoice, so there are no surprises at loading.

Can you supply parts under my own brand?

Yes. Private label covers cartons, labels, product packaging and printed fitting instructions. We can print customer-supplied artwork or typeset it for you, and painted parts can be matched to a factory colour code. Minimum quantities for custom packaging depend on the family — ask when you send the first list.

How quickly can you restock a fast mover?

Stock items typically ship 7–15 days after order confirmation, plus ocean transit. That means a fast mover can be restocked in roughly a month for most lanes. New-model parts, painted items and custom packaging take longer (15–30 days), so plan those on a different cycle from your stock replenishment.
