Truck & pickup body parts for CIS and Central Asian importers

CIS and Central Asia is a land route, not a sea route: rail and truck via Khorgos, Alashankou and Dostyk, with most cargo reaching Almaty in under three weeks. Buyers want Russian-language documents, cold-climate material options and a supplier who can mix European, Japanese and Chinese-brand fitments in one container.

Stocking profile

What a regional distributor typically carries

Not a rule — a starting point we use to build first mixed orders. Adjust to your own workshop and retail mix.

  • Hilux, Land Cruiser and D-Max exterior parts for the large Japanese-pickup parc.
  • Chinese-brand parts (Chery, Changan, Great Wall, Geely, BYD) as those brands grow in the region.
  • Steel repair panels for collision repair — freight by rail is cost-effective for bulky panels.
  • Cold-climate accessory lines for off-road and utility fleets.

What importers commonly need

Every requirement below is product- and port-specific, and it changes. Treat this as a list of questions for your broker — not as a promise from us or from the scheme.

Disclaimer

Regulatory notes on this page are a planning aid compiled from common practice, not legal or customs advice. Rules change and are applied differently by port and by product — confirm every requirement with your own customs broker or freight forwarder before you book production.

What we supply

Test reports, product data sheets, product and label photos, HS codes, factory certificates, CCPIT certificate of origin and legalisation support. The conformity certificate itself is raised by the approved body in your country, usually in your name.

Quality & documents
  1. 01

    EAEU technical regulations (EAC)

Road-vehicle components sold in the Eurasian Economic Union commonly require conformity under technical regulations for wheeled vehicles and their parts, with EAC marking where applicable. The exact regulation and certification scheme depend on the part. Confirm the current requirement with your certification body or broker before ordering — the rules have changed several times.

  2. 02

    Russian-language documentation

Customs files and product labels are commonly required in Russian. We prepare Russian commercial invoices and packing lists, and can add Russian product labels and installation instructions. Translation accuracy matters for certification files, so review the wording with your local agent.

  3. 03

    Cold-climate specification

For northern Kazakhstan, Siberia and the Urals we offer cold-flex material options for plastic parts and higher-impact ABS for bumpers and flares, plus packaging rated for winter transit. Tell us the destination city and the season at order confirmation.

  4. 04

Certificate of origin & transit docs

CCPIT certificate of origin, rail waybill or CMR depending on mode, and transit customs declarations are handled by your forwarder. We issue the export documents and keep the HS codes consistent across shipments so your clearance does not restart from scratch.

Questions

CIS & Central Asia import FAQ

The questions we get most often from buyers in this region. If yours is not here, ask it directly — you will get a named contact, not a form letter.

Do you ship by rail or by truck?

Both. For Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan the usual route is rail to Khorgos/Alashankou, then rail or truck to the destination city; for Russia, rail to Moscow or Novosibirsk. Transit is typically 12–25 days depending on the border queue and destination — estimate only, confirm with your forwarder. We work with the buyer’s forwarder, and can introduce ours if you need one.

Can you supply EAC certification?

We provide the technical file that a certification body needs — product data, test reports, materials, photos, HS codes and factory documents. The EAC certificate or declaration is raised by an accredited body in the EAEU, usually in the importer’s name. We can work with the body you choose and coordinate sample shipments for testing.

What sells in Central Asia?

Toyota Hilux/Land Cruiser, Isuzu D-Max and light trucks, plus Chinese brands that are growing quickly. Steel panels and lamps move with the repair trade; body kits and flares sell to the off-road accessories market. Tell us your city and customer base and we will suggest a starting mix.
